diamond hand pads are ideal for smoothing and polishing fused glass or slumped glass pieces that have a sharp edge or a rough surface. The lower the number, i.e. 60 grit, the more abrasive the pad. For a highly polished finish, start with 60 grit and work through the 4 grit sizes, finishing with 400 grit.
Diamond polishing pads are also useful for taking the rough edges off of your stained glass pieces where using a grinder or belt sander is not practical.
Save by purchasing the entire set of 4 pieces. Pads should be used wet for better results.
Electroplated diamond hand polishing pad is suitable for edging and seaming polishing marble, granite, ceramic, glass and hard composites. The electroplated hand pad comes finer polishing with grits 60#, 200#, 400# and 800#. Standard grits are 60#, 120#, 200# and 400#. 800# is a customized grit.
